Contradictions between the witness statements of the McCanns, their 'Tapas 9' friends, and other witnesses
In this article, we will be reproducing extracts from witness statements made to the Portuguese police, and explaining how these reveal many obvious contradictions. Minor inconsistencies in what different witnesses say about a particular incident are one thing, but as we shall see, these are significant contradictions, most of them about a day they all should have remembered with clarity - Thursday 3 May 2007, the day Madeleine was reported missing.
